]]> Wed May 9 2007 Kris' Stage Rally Civic http://performance-autoworks.fotopic.net/c1165770.html Kris Dunlop's stage rally Honda Civic EK4. After this season's promising results Kris has decided to up the anti for next year. The car is now sporting a JDM EK9 Civic Type-R B16b engine - not the most obvious conversion (most would opt for the B18 Integra lump) but in order for the car to stay in it's class the 1.6 capacity had to stay. The suspension and geometry has also recieved some attention in an effort to improve the cars as an overall package. ]]> Mon Dec 4 2006 Jap Performance Sunday http://performance-autoworks.fotopic.net/c1093832.html A few pictures of the Performance Autoworks Display and a small selection of some of our customer's cars that turned out in support. With this event being one of the last static shows of the season we decided to take some time out of our busy work schedule to attend this show. With it being a fairly local event many of our customers joined us on our stand for what turned out to be a superb laid back sunny autumn day. We were kept busy for most of the day, talking tech, discussing new ideas, chatting to customers and offering advice to anybody who cared to ask. Big thanks to all our customers for turning out and putting on such a nice display of cars. The MLR500 was an endurance race organised by the Mitsubishi Lancer Register. The race would last 4 hours on a grasstrack circuit and had to include driver changes and refueling stops. The car was to cost a total of not more than £500 (excluding safety items such as roll cage, harnesses etc). How could we refuse to support such an event.
